Activity: Developing a Collaborative Relationship with AHV: Archivo Histórico de Vieques (Vieques, Puerto Rico)
The Vieques Historic Archive is conceptualized as a space to preserve and disseminate Vieques’ history and struggles against the US Navy.
The Caribbean Diaspora project has supported this archive by giving advice on document preservation and establishing a work plan for digitization.
Currently, the Diaspora Project’s main researchers, Nadjah Ríos Villarini & Mirerza González-Vélez, are members of AHV’s advisory board.
